Ready to keep the party going? We've reserved the upstairs of Mine Oyster in the harbor to close out the evening. This will be a standard cash bar, and we ask that you order any drinks upstairs (even if you choose to check out downstairs - which will be open to the public).

We do not have a room block or specific discount code at any hotels. There are many Hotels/Inns/B&B options in the compact harbor area. The below are a few recommendations based either on our travels to Boothbay or from our venue.
We will have a shuttle running between the harbor and the reception on Saturday.

Which is the best airport to travel into?
Portland Airport (PWM) is the closest airport to Boothbay Harbor and is roughly 90 minutes away depending on traffic. Boston Logan (BOS) is about a 3.5 hr drive and Bangor (BGR) is a little over 2 hours by car.
What will the weather be like? Are wedding activities indoor or outdoor?
We could be looking at an 80 degree day or a 40 degree day - it's New England
in the fall after all! What we do know is that the church we are getting married
in does not have any heat (consider yourself warned!). While we don't anticipate
this being a problem, we do want everyone to be aware so that they are checking
the temps as the weekend nears, and packing something accordingly.
Our Friday night event is mainly outdoors (although largely covered and with some
inside areas) and our reception venue has heat/air depending on what mother nature
throws our way.
Is there a dress code?
We want our guests to be comfortable. As such, please do what is right for you. Semi-formal/Cocktail attire for the Wedding and Coastal Festive attire for our Welcome Party are general guidelines if needed.
What if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?
Please indicate this on your response card.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Our ceremony will be a Catholic Mass starting promptly at 1:00pm. Please arrive to the church prior to that time to get seated in the church. The ceremony is expected to be a little longer than one hour.

What are the shuttle details?
For those who don't wish to drive to and from the reception, we are offering a shuttle between the harbor and the playhouse. We are offering two shuttle runs at the beginning and the end of the reception (it won't run continuously). You can meet the shuttle at 11 Howard Street at the Public Parking lot next to the Police Dept. and Town Offices. The first shuttle pickup will be at 3:15pm. The second will be at approximately 3:45pm. The return shuttle will leave from the Playhouse at 9pm. The second at 9:30.
